Over The Moon - Sick As A Parrot
Book Review from 2007
Cover
Now I wanted to write this as my review. “Oh Dear”.
This I was told was not good enough so I tried again.”Oh Dear… No Seriously… Oh Dear”. This again was sent back. So… third time lucky.
This book was produced to accompany the 1982 world cup in Spain. The plot is that Senor Morecambe has been cornered by a journalist from the famous Spanish magazine Ole. They ask him questions and Eric responds in a humorous way, usually with a suitable photograph. Well at least that was the idea.
The book is basically a photo story. One set of pages is the question followed by an amusing photo of Eric. This is the kind of book that your Grandmother would have bought you during the summer holidays for the 82 world cup.
It’s about football and that funny man Eric Morecambe is in it. It takes approximately five minutes to read and then forget.
Not a classic book by any stretch of the imagination. The only plus point is that if you ever see it in a book shop you’ll be able to read it before you buy it.
For collectors only.
