A bumper crop of hilarious articles, jokes, poems and sketches wot were written by Britain's best loved comedy partnership.

At least that’s what the back cover says!

This is indeed a collection of articles taken from many different sources from local newspapers, womens magazines and TV guides. The material is of the quality usually found in magazines with such titles as "Why I believe in Father Christmas" by Eric, taken from the TV Times Christmas Extra to an interview with Eric about football that appeared in Reveille.

Some of the articles are interesting, in a coffe table book kind of way, and some offer insights into the thoughts of Eric and Ern.

For instance Eric notes;
"I wake up every morning and ask how long the success is going to last. Ernie and I have been a hit for a long time now, and I wonder how much longer we can keep it up."

On other comics, Eric says;
"Laurel and Hardy make me laugh most. They used this very slow look look straight into the camera."

"I do laugh at bits of Monty Python, yes, but other bits are absolutely abortive. It doesn't make me fall about, like say, Tommy Cooper. Now he really makes me fall about."
